Week in Review: February 13-17

It was a fast and busy week! We began the week with the STAAR Ready practice reading test and students did very well overall. I was proud of their hard work!

On Tuesday, we celebrated Valentine's Day all day. From love-themed writing prompts in language arts, to Valentine candy word problems in math, and of course, the party and exchanging Valentines in the afternoon. It was a fun day!

In science, we are nearing the end of our unit on the water cycle and weather, and will have a review and test on Wednesday. In social studies, we are continuing our economics unit. Don't forget, students should be working on their products for the economics fair on Thursday March 9.
