Week in Review: October 24-28

We wrapped up so many units this week: poetry in language arts, multiplication in math, and forms of energy in science. Next week will be the start of expository (non-fiction) reading and writing, natural resources in science and fractions in math. Along with unit assessments in each of these subjects, students also had their first spelling test on Friday. They will get a new list of words on Monday, and the next test will be Friday November 11.

This week was super busy with early release on Wednesday, Every Artist Live day on Thursday, and an author visit by Aaron Reynolds on Friday. Also on Friday, we explored with "squishy circuits" during E-SLOT time. Next week, we begin a new round of E-SLOT groups for 4 weeks.

I will just let the pictures below speak for themselves. Enjoy, and have a wonderful weekend!
