I will apologize in advance for the lack of pictures this week. I was out for a meeting on Tuesday, and on Wednesday, the entire third grade took the STAAR Reading practice test, so that would not make for very interesting photos. We also met with our kindergarten buddies on Thursday.
We began a unit on weather in science and the students have enjoyed comparing our local weather with that in Galveston. In math, we wrapped up multiplication with a review on Tuesday, and a test on Thursday. In social studies, we are beginning to think about and plan for our Economics Fair advertisements. And in language arts, we continued to work on our PBL newsletter articles.
To wrap up the week, we enjoyed a field trip to the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center. The students represented our school well, and I was very proud of them.
